The Honey Princess.

Note:  This is a Pokemon Fanfiction.  It is part of a collaborative project with my friend Apollo94.  To fully understand this story, it is recommended that you first read Life as a Lugia and Discovered.  Links to both will be provided below.

The young girl Holly was sitting in the middle of a lonely field, idly collecting flowers.  When her older siblings wanted something, they had always sent her to do the work, and Holly complied without complaint.  But whenever she would ask them for help with her pet projects, they were always too busy.  

Holly wished she had somebody she could ask for help.  "I'd never be too busy to help them back."  She thought.  

As she plucked flowers and put them in her basket, someone walked up to her.  "Hello there!"  The woman said to Holly.  "What are you doing?"

"I'm making a bouquet!"  Holly smiled, forgetting her parents' advie about not talking to strangers.  "Would you like to help?"

"Sure I would."  The woman said, picking a flower and putting it in Holly's basket.  "I'm Silva.  What's your name?"

"Holly."  She shook hands with Silva.  "Thank you for helping me."

So polite!"  Silva commented. "Well Holly, can you keep a secret?"

"Yeah." Holly leaned in.

"I'm not really a normal person."  Silva whispered.  "I can change into a Pokemon."

"You can?"  Holly asked.  She may have been young, but even she doubted that something like that could be true.  "Show me."

Silva smiled, a bright, white light surrounding her and spreading out, reshaping into the silver bird, Lugia.

"Wow!"  Holly said, quite amazed.  "You're a giant!"

Silva laughed and nodded, before shrinking into a human again.  "I have a feeling you would like to change like this as well.  Into a different Pokemon, though."

"It's like you could read my mind!"  Holly cheered.  "I would love to be like that bee princess!"

Silva giggled, reading the girls mind and seeing that she meant Vespiquen.  "Would you like me to let you change into that bee princess?"

"A lot!"  Holly smiled.

With that, Silva's magic began to work.  Holly's skin began to harden, and smooth out.  Her arms and legs took a black hue, the joints in knees and elbows changing to suit her new physiology.  

Holly looked a bit surprised to see her fingers change, tiny hooks growing on them.  "They let you stick to walls."  Silva explained.  "And you can make them go away if you want to."

Near the base of Holly's spine, a large bulge formed, growing into an insect's yellow abdomen, with a poison-tipped stinger.  Then, around her waist, six interlinked, hexagon hives grew down, forming "dress" around her legs and abdomen.  A pattern of horizontal black and yellow stripes covered the new dress quite well.

Two large, black and yellow protrusions grew from her head, with a red gem pushing out of the young girl's forehead, making it look as if she was wearing a regal headpiece.  Her face turned a dark red, though not out of embarrassment.  Her eyes took a lighter red, though they still held that same sense of childlike innocence.  At the sides of her mouth, two mandibles came forth.

Lastly, four wings sprouted from Holly's back.  They were thin and clear, yet strong and beautiful.  Holly looked herself over.  "I can fly!"  She cheered.  Her happiness faded, however, when she noticed many of the bees in the field starting to fly toward her.

"Don't panic!"  Silva assured her.  "The bees are your friends now!  They'll do what you ask."

Holly, confused and worried, but willing to listen, turned to some of the incoming bees.  "Excuse me, but could you please help me get some flowers?"  She nervously asked.  To her surprise, several bees flew off, returning with flowers, which they carefully dropped in her hand.

"You are my friends!"  Holly smiled.  "This is gonna be fun!  You'll get to help me, and I can help you and…"

Silva laughed, and excused herself as Holly got to know her new friends.
